COMMUNITY
Join PCV at this year’s Capital Pride!
Capital Pride is just around the corner and we want to truly make an impression on the community this year! We are currently recruiting volunteers to help us shine as part of the Pride Parade Float and Street Festival Info Booth.
Three unique volunteer roles are available:
Info Booth Ambassadors at the Capital Pride Street Festival: If you love chatting, smiling, and being the friendly face of PCV, this role is tailor-made for you! You'll be stationed at our info booth, answering questions, handing out cool swag, and encouraging people to try our programming.
Parade Float Marcher: Picture yourself strutting your stuff, dancing to some banging tunes, and waving at the cheering crowds. As a Float Marcher, you'll be part of our parade contingency and you’ll be waving flags, engaging with the community, and showing the best that PCV has to offer!
PCV Float Pepperer: It is tradition that PCV's float has a few pairs of players “peppering” behind the float while we go through the route. This role does require volunteers to be able to “pepper” or consistently bump and volley in a controlled manner.
We’re also looking for volunteers to manage the BBQ and fulfill BBQ orders at our Beach Bums Tourament on Aug 16. Click the link below to sign up.
Signing up is simple! Just click the link below, and sign up for the role and times that work for you!
